The Pursuit of Happiness (Girls)

One goes to school for a variety of reasons: to learn new things, make new friends, open oneself to new ideas and most importantly, to meet girls.  It is that last one that is often the most puzzling and difficult to achieve out of the four.  Its not hard to learn about the Ottoman Empire, socialize with some people after school or to join a creative/exotic new club.  However, how does one meet girls?  (As a warning, going up to them and speaking about your accomplishments does not work.  Unless you are me.  I an lying.  It does not even work for yours truly.)  I have heard that being kind works, as well as flattery and showing your true self.  Perhaps it works when that person’s true self is complemented by a six-pack and impeccable manners, but I have neither of those qualities.  My approach consists of… well let’s just say that I’m in the midst of tweaking it after another failure.  There have been few times in which I have ever been certain that I have had real feelings for a girl.  One time was in the womb (My umbilical cord and I were TIGHT.  Wow.  Looking back on that joke, it was way off the mark.  I apologize.)  No, in all seriousness, it happened only once.  Two years ago, I had this thing for one of my classmates, but did nothing about it and I lost any chance I had.  I urge anyone with doubts about asking someone out, do it, because the rejection hurts less than the inevitable regret.  That was poetic.  Call me a modern day Robert Frost.  Anyway, back to the point of this post.  There’s this girl I go to school with that I really like.  While its not at the same level as my seventh grade crush, I do like her a lot.  I know that some of you out there, emphasis on the “some,” actually have some valuable advice on how to pursue females.  Any advice can be posted in the comment section below.  Be sure not to give me all your secrets because if you do, there won’t be any ladies left. Right, guys..?

  1. oh yesh says:

who was the girl you liked?

  2. Ladies man says:

wat u gotta do is make them laugh, then within the first couple of days, make it clear that you are not going to sit in the friend zone cuz that will never work unless u stick with it for 2 years (happened to me before… soooo not worth it)… Then make your move, oh yeah and make sure that you can figure out her sense of humor and stuff like that really early

  3. Ladies man says:

its a very good thing, and you should probably be making a move soon, if u think itll be awkward or ur not at that point, invite her to hang out with a group of friends or like a movie and start to read little signs like the classic grab ur arm or the famous “im cold”(she wants big gerson to warm her up lol)…
