Working

I try my hardest to stay motivated in life, whether it be waking up before noon, repressing my alter ego, (That’s not tru-) or making myself blog for you guys.  The only exception to my fierce motivational drive is that of work, I simply have a tough time with it.  Look, I’m not one of those kids that never hands in their homework, (I’ve handed it in twice) nor do I sit at home and watch TV all day.  (Only from 3 AM to 10:30 PM.  That leaves like seven hours to learn how to do math.)  It’s just that I can’t force myself to focus on working diligently or consistently, an issue that frustrates my parents and my oddly present housekeeper to no end.  Therefore, my family made a decision.  We all put our heads together (Except for the housekeeper.  We felt she was getting too involved.) and came to the conclusion that I needed to do some hard labor to become a man.  Never mind the fact that I had a Bar Mitzvah, that was some symbolic, this is real.  So of course, what do men do?  Men work at clothing factories.  And men rock those clothing factories.  Is Julian a man?  Uh, well… not so much.  Nevertheless, I approached my new Belgian clothing manufacturing job with a bit of apprehension and the comforting thought of how much you guys would all be laughing at me if you saw me labeling t-shirts and then the looks on your faces when you saw me getting free clothes.  I’m sorry, what’s that I hear?  Jealousy for my awesome free thirty-dollar shirt which my parents and cousins say compliment me quite well and don’t bring out my man boobs too much.  Although tomorrow is my last day, I made some new friends and I finally understand the sheer amount of work that goes into packaging ties, making it a worthwhile and valuable experience.  And finally, if any of you have seen my housekeeper, can you send her back to me because I’m too lazy to clean my own room.  Thanks.

This blog is informal to say the least. It's almost like an online journal, filled with stories that I find funny, interesting things/links and anything else that comes to my mind. Enjoy.
