Waking Up

In life, as everyone knows, there are challenges.  Schoolwork, sports, eating, video games; the list is in fact, quite extensive.  However, nothing, nothing at all, is as difficult as waking up on a Monday morning for school.  Hey, what day is it? Monday.  When did I start this post? 7:45 AM.  Just think about how much I sacrifice for my readership.  You all must feel so guilty right now.  Just sitting at home, in your warm beds, while I slave like a Siberian husky for your pleasure.  Anyway, as I was saying before I guilted you all and fell asleep for a quick power siesta, waking myself up at unnatural moments in the morning is a little more difficult than seeing an extinct species in the wild.  What happens when I wake up is this: “Holy *$%#shit it’s early.  What kind of stupid people are awake right now?”  Then I go back to sleep.  Repeat this about three times and that’s my morning.  Now, let’s say that by some miracle or with the promise of food, you managed to wake me up.  I get in the shower.  If you hear a loud bang, wait a few minutes.  If no sounds are heard, come check my body for signs of life.  Hopefully, I’ll make it through the shower and back to my room.  If I don’t fall back asleep in my bed and get my clothes on, you are honestly a savant and I admire you as much as Jesus/Madonna.  Then, if you promised me food, you better deliver because if you were lying to me, I will flip out faster than one of the people on Flavor of Love or whatever Flavor Flav’s show is called. (I know exactly what it’s called.  Because I have watched every single episode.  Every one.)   If I’m out the door at 9:15 for a 8:00 class, consider this day a great success.  You have just succeeded in an undergoing that has been considered the only thing more difficult that dealing with my emotional needs.  Congratulations.
